"Lighthead" and other translation issues[edit]

I'm doing my best to copy-edit this article, but there are lots of style and grammar issues. For example, I've found consistent usage of the non-words 'lighthead' and 'lampholder'. My best guess is that these stem from an overly literal translation from the French sources used by the IP editor at 212.234.203.87 who contributed much of the original text. WIthout further information such as knowledge of what that author was thinking or the original standards he referenced, I cannot tell whether 'lighthead' means 'lightbulb', 'light fixture', 'bulb holder', 'bulb enclosure', 'socket' or whatever else. For this and the other awkward language, I invite someone with more in-depth knowledge, of French or surgical lighting standards, to have a pass. Thanks in advance.Anon423 (talk) 08:49, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Update: I've reworded much of the page and cleaned up most of the translation problems with a bit of Google Translate help and original sources. It seems 'lighthead' is in fact the common word. I would still appreciate someone with more in-depth knowledge of surgical terminology or French taking a look. Anon423 (talk) 07:07, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
