King of Ryukyu Islands[edit]

According to Louis-Frédéric, Eisō was "king of the Ryūkyū Islands in the thirteenth century" ... -- see Nussbaum, Louis-Frédéric. (2002). Japan Encyclopedia, p. 172., p. 172, at Google Books
