Tao Huang Zitao → Tao (singer) – Tao's stagename is not really as much of a match as his real name, Huang Zitao. Similar case to Krystal (singer) with her real name being Chrystal Soo Jung. Relisted. Jenks24 (talk) 11:01, 31 July 2014 (UTC) Tibbydibby (talk) 00:46, 24 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose - if not deleted/merged then move to his name Huang Zitao. Tao (Chinese singer) would be preferable to Tao (singer) should redirect to Tao dab, since Tao (American singer) would refer to Antwuan "Tao" Simpson of Dru Hill, and there's a non-notable Thai singer Tao also. But honestly anyone seeing Tao singer would be more likely to think of David Tao; Huang Zitao is not a "singer" in his own right, he is only a member of a boy band. Comment - I second ictu oculi's opinion above that this page fails WP:Notability and ought to be Deleted. Almost everything is verbatim of List of Exo members#Tao. He has no discography as a solo artist and the only filmography was as an extra actor in an Internet drama. The "official website" is Exo's, not his. Timmyshin (talk) 20:46, 24 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It's a bit awkward because merge is meant to be outisde the scope of RM, even though we do sometimes come to that conclusion when there is a very clear consensus – but I don't see that consensus here. Maybe go with AfD, which can run concurrently with the RM and if the AfD closes as merge or redirect this RM can be procedurally closed. Jenks24 (talk) 11:43, 31 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
