File:Thylogale billardierii.jpg to appear as POTD soon[edit]

Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:Thylogale billardierii.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on December 26, 2011. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2011-12-26. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page so Wikipedia doesn't look bad. :) Thanks! howcheng {chat} 22:52, 23 December 2011 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Tasmanian Pademelon
The Tasmanian Pademelon is the only species of pademelon endemic to Tasmania. Pademelons are the smallest of the macropods, which also includes kangaroos and wallabies. Males reach around 12 kg (26 lb) in weight, 1–1.2 m (3.3–3.9 ft) in height, and are considerably larger than the females, which average 3.9 kg (8.6 lb).Photo: JJ Harrison

Pronounced?[edit]

Would someone please add the pronunciation of "pademelon" to the lede sentence? Thanks Invertzoo (talk) 22:03, 27 February 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]
