Worldwide view?[edit]

This article was tagged with {{globalize/USA}} quite some time ago by an IP. Since there was never any discussion to go along with this, and the article clearly does discuss slamming in the UK (to some extent), I've removed that tag. Feel free to re-add it if you feel there still is a problem. —/Mendaliv//Δ's/ 18:05, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Other Utilities?[edit]

Slamming isn't just a problem with telephone service-- shady utilities have been doing it around here for years. There isn't a page for those variations though, and since it's basically the same scam with a different vector, might it be worth adding a section to the telephone slamming entry? Interesting. I'd say to create a subsection within this article if the general slamming of which you speak is something that evolved from the practice of telephone slamming. However, if there's a substantial amount of information on it, I'd suggest creating an article titled Utility slamming, and mentioning telephone slamming within it. —/Mendaliv//Δ's/ 18:09, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
