Assessment comment[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Tellico Village, Tennessee/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

The article has a political slant that is unacceptable for an encyclopedia. That Tellico Village may or may not be an example of unbridled capitalism and consumerism in the United States, or that TVA was "in the wrong" for damming the Little Tennessee River is not something people consult an encyclopedia for. Although I am a former resident of Loudon County, I have a very limited knowledge of Tellico Village and cannot provide the massive edit job that this article needs. The most I can do is remove the political rants.
