How did the modus operandi differ?[edit]

The article says multiple times that the modus operandi differed between the Torso Killer and Jack the Ripper, however never gives any indication of how? To an untrained eye these are both London-based murders featuring careful dismemberment (either with the skill of a butcher, or of a surgeon) with the bodies dumped in public places. What key differences in modus operandi exist? 2A01:388:505:150:0:0:1:17 (talk) 15:04, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The Ripper extensively mutilated his victims, with progressive disembowelment. This offender dismembered his victims.--Kieronoldham (talk) 01:51, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Charles Lechmere connection[edit]

This article should discuss the points brought up by Christer Holmgren: "Cutting Point: Solving the Jack the Ripper and the Thames Torso Murders" (Timaios Press, 2021), which links Charles Allen Lechmere to both the Whitechapel and the Thames Torso murders.
