"The collection also includes a bonus LP which was later released separately:", i.e. the UK Rarities album. I think we can lose that line to be honest, Rarities was part of the box, period. What interests me though, and what isn't made clear, is what was in the limited edition US set? Did that include the UK rarities album too? --kingboyk 14:05, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The USA Beatles Collection also included the UK Rarities album which bore the Capitol label. The Rarities mention as a bonus album was to make clear that Rarities was not part of the original pre-CD official British Beatles catalogue. The limited edition US set was identical to the British release. Steelbeard1 14:20, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I've tweaked it using your new info. --kingboyk 14:34, 22 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Capitol copy of the Rarities LP in the set differed as it included the regular English language recording of "She Loves You" rather than the German version. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:1C2:4F01:9FDD:5DE0:D8C5:A342:A5E7 (talk) 02:21, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

How do I get the 4.5 stars graphic for the All Music Guide to show up? Steelbeard1 18:47, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

(). I've no idea why, either :) --kingboyk 19:35, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The MoFi box set was certainly not acclaimed for its sonic accuracy, it would be more accurate to say that it was widely regarded as having departed too far from the originals, especially in the mid-range, to be taken seriously - with the exception of Abbey Road. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.152.225.82 (talk) 16:16, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

UK vinyl release box 1978[edit]

did NOT include the "magical mystery tour" album AND did NOT include the "past masters" album!!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Geertes62 (talkcontribs) 21:52, 19 June 2018 (UTC) I just undid the inclusion of "Magical Mystery Tour" in the list AGAIN, some clown keeps adding it here and to the list in "The Beatles Mono Collection" article. The album was definitely NOT included in either set! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:1C2:4F01:9FDD:74BF:6DCD:B58F:7F71 (talk) 21:15, 22 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Is it numbered?[edit]

Some online discussions mention that the original 1978 release should be numbered. Is that correct, and if so, where is the pressing number located? 185.107.13.194 (talk) 09:56, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
