historical inaccuracies[edit]

Just a note: in the film Steve Allen as Goodman is shown playing the Gordon Jenkins standard "Goodbye," which he used as a closing theme for many years, after his father dies. Goodman's father died in 1926 but Jenkins did not compose "Goodbye" until 1935. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 156.98.118.115 (talk) 19:48, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
