I don't think I've picked up on this before, but in the infobox, is "2 and 1/2 lengths" a good way of writing it, or would "2½ lengths" be better?

A little extra detail about the highlights of this raise, such as Cambridge's coach changes and the leader changing from Oxford to Cambridge and back again would be nice

"There was fine weather, the tide was moderate, and the race commenced at 12.26pm." - might be easier to say "The race started at 12.26pm in fine weather with a moderate tide"
