Eddie Boyd[edit]

Charles Shaar Murray states in his book Blues on CD, that piano man Eddie Boyd toured and recorded with Fleetwood Mac. Murray says that Boyd recorded with them in 1968 on a Blue Horizon album titled South Rhodes (7936). Since this article says that Mac's entire recorded work with Blue Horizon is present in this CD set, can someone say where the album mentioned by Murray fits in? --Blainster 17:42, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"7936 South Rhodes" is an Eddie Boyd album, not a Fleetwood Mac album. Green, McVie and Fleetwood were on it as guest musicians, but not Spencer, and it's not considered a Fleetwood Mac project as such. Mike Vernon organised a separate collection of Eddie Boyd Blue Horizon material with these recordings on it. Same goes for the Otis Spann "Colossus" album (Green, McVie and Kirwan) and the Duster Bennett "Smiling Like I'm Happy" album (Green, McVie, Fleetwood).
The only stuff that came out without a straight "Fleetwood Mac" tag on it but still included all the members was the Blues Jam in Chicago set. Bretonbanquet 17:52, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the quick response. I located the album listed at Amazon, and corrected my entry at the Eddie Boyd article. --Blainster 17:59, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My pleasure - it's a great album too. It's often pretty hard figuring out all the things the boys in Fleetwood Mac recorded in their spare time - they were busy! Bretonbanquet 18:08, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Fmtcbhs.jpg[edit]

Image:Fmtcbhs.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
