Lead[edit]

  • the song charted on Billboard's Spotify Viral 50 chart at number 48. → remove see below
  • Atlantic subsequently sent it → Subsequently, Atlantic Records sent the song (as it is the first mention)

Background[edit]

  • (also registered as "Heart of Me" with BMI) → source doesn't work and is it really important? I mean the album credits are much more relevant and have the actual name of the song.
  • Just a question do you have the name of the studios?
    • It's possible the original nominator does. I sadly couldn't find it. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 20:09, 9 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Please mention Kevin Grainger and S. Vaughan Merrick, they are as valuable as the others.

Composition and lyrics[edit]

  • In the chorus, Wyatt sings "Look away, take the back door to / The heart of me / Because I can't believe / That anything's cool anymore" → what's the point of this?

Release[edit]

  • In the issue dated 12 March 2016 of Billboard, "The Heart of Me" made its chart debut at number 48 on the Spotify Viral 50 chart,[23] which measured the top songs on streaming service Spotify with the most sharing and social activity in the United States. The song was listed on the chart for a week. → irrelevant, it is not a chart that is used in wikipedia. See Billboard Charts.

Critical reception[edit]

  • Add "received generally positive reviews from music critics" → link music critics to musi journalism
    • Is this in the lede? I added something to this section saying this. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 20:09, 9 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • I would let the "best song of the week" and "best of the year" in a diferent paragraph.

Overall[edit]

@Lee Vilenski: First of all, thank you for responding so quickly. Secondly, I'm aware you are not the nominator and I made some small changes to the article, if you could see if you are ok with them it would help. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 21:24, 9 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry I haven't been able to address this until now. Looks like Lee has finished the job, thanks! Pancake (talk) 08:55, 10 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
