Talk:The Lion King (video game)

- To whoever put in the music: Well done, it's a good feature. But what version of the game are you using? I.e. the music sounds different on the PC version, (which I think is Genesis?)
- Ok, someone has added them (but not answered my comment). Thanks :)
- I've decided to elaborate a bit on the BGM. I did a 3-way comparison back in 1998. I have the Sega Genesis version of the game, my cousin has the Super Nintendo version of the game, and a classmate has the PC version of the game. My cousin would boast about how his SNES has superior music compared to my Genesis when the game. So I took a listen to his SNES version, and compared it to my Genesis version, and sure enough the Genesis version has missing vocals in the BGM (notably during the title card, the African singer vocals were missing on the Genesis version, plus missing vocals in almost every other level). For the PC version, I got a copy on 3 disks from my classmate. When configured in Ad-Lib mode, the vocals are missing as well, but when configured in SB16 mode, the vocals are there. The soundcard used was a SoundBlaster AWE64. RAM (talk) 19:54, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:The Lion King boxart.jpg
Image:The Lion King boxart.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
I've done a major update to the Bonus Stage section. Some of the information was from the game manual. I'm not sure if I am required to add a reference, and in any case I would not now how. Sorry, I'm really new at this. Kyle Berman (talk) 01:17, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
