Impossible to verify[edit]

Regarding this recent addition[1].. why is it impossible to verify the story appeared in The Casket? Not doubting it, but the cited source (Dictionary of Nineteenth-Century Journalism in Great Britain and Ireland pg. 149) doesn't say anything about The Casket other than its existence.
