Settlement legality[edit]

Since this article mentions the memo about Israeli settlements, I think it would be best to get a more accurate picture. Gershom Gorenberg's book Accidental Empire discusses this. Instead of saying settlements are flat out illegal, Meron said that international law would only allow temporary military settlements. It is a slight difference in wording but it allowed parts of the Israeli government to begin building settlements in the Golan and the West Bank under the guise of being Nahal settlements. I do not know proper etiquette for editing on wikipedia so if anyone wants to delve into this I feel it would improve the quality of the article. Blanking and proposed deletion[edit]

The source text has been archived to http://www.irmct.org/en/about/principals/former-principals. Copyvio analysis[edit]

Since the user who posted {{subst:copyvio}} on the article also removed the entire page content, and since the source site has since archived the copied text to http://www.irmct.org/en/about/principals/former-principals, the Copyvios report is of no value.

I notice there's an edit conflict regarding the abbreviation between user:217.196.227.2 and user:Lol1VNIO. From https://www.royal.uk/order-st-michael-and-st-george and https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/4033764 it appears that CMG is the correct abbreviation.
