Birth date and place[edit]

Various newspaper obituaries give Davenport's age at death as 53 or 55. If this information is correct, he was born probably in 1783 or 1785. His parents had moved from Cumberland County to Halifax County by 1783. GeoWPC (talk) 20:35, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
