The Thor 1A was designed and developed by Thor strenger with the assistance of Mike Smith from Barrie Ontario, Mr guenter Weber/Webster had nothing to do with the manufacturing and/or testing and development of the aircraft. I could also provide more images pertaining to the craft if desired. Yours respectfully, Thor Strenger Sailnau (talk) 19:43, 10 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I was talking about the Thor 1A ultralight aircraft. You can check with the Copa ( Canadian Owner s and Pilot Associations) newspaper editors in Ottawa Ontario, Canada Sailnau (talk) 11:25, 12 December 2019 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for your note here about this article.
Because we can't verify who anyone is who posts information on talk pages, our Wikipedia policy requires us to rely on what published, reliable sources say on each subject. In this case the Virtual Ultralight Museum says "Designed by Thorsten B. Strenger (or Gunter Webster?), the Thor T-1 was available as a kit from Thor Air of Weston, Ontario." The paper ref cited, Cliche, Andre: Ultralight Aircraft Shopper's Guide 8th Edition, page E-41, which I have a copy of here, only says that it was manufactured in Canada and gives no information on the designer or builder. The article currently says "designed by Thorsten B. Strenger (or possibly Gunter Webster)", which reflects the only reference we have that mentions the designer. If we are going to change this text we will need to cite a new reliable reference that has better information.
As far as photos of the aircraft, it would be great if you can contribute any of those. If you took the photos and own the rights to them they can be uploaded under a free licence to Wiki Commons and then can be used to illustrate articles in all languages of Wikipedia, including this one. If you don't know how to insert images once you have uploaded them then just put a link here and I can place them in the article. - Ahunt (talk) 15:49, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
