Offices of the Holy Spirit[edit]

It seems that there also offices of the Holy Spirit, which some have essentially tied with the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit. Others, however, believe that the Holy Spirit is also Priest, Prophet and King, something which was deduced from the Trinitarian dogma. ADM (talk) 22:48, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Improve this[edit]

An editor has asked for this to be improved. What specifically does it need? --John (talk) 22:19, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Some tender loving references and more scholarship. The Lutheranism and Calvinism sections have the same number of references, i.e. zero. The Catholic section is but one line... After the first paragraph on prophet the rest of the section is unsourced, and no clearly justified. It is well known that the prophet title is far more emphatic in Luke (I forget the reference now) and that needs elaboration, etc. etc. Overall it is a below average quality item. Just takes time and research to fix.... History2007 (talk) 22:35, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'll have a look. This is outside my area of expertise so I would appreciate some help. --John (talk) 23:03, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well, maybe we should wait for someone who has already researched the issues. I am somewhat overloaded now, and tired of doing Christology. I could do it in 3-6 months, so I was hoping for free work. But thanks for trying anyway. History2007 (talk) 23:08, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No, I will try to have a hack at it. I have someone in mind who might not mind helping. I can certainly do it in less than three months. Let me have a go.--John (talk) 23:19, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
But of course. As long as I don't have to do it now, fine. Thanks. History2007 (talk) 02:08, 13 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
