As I'm currently studying Mr Bonaparte (or Buonoparte) I decided a good way to revise would be to transfer as much as I can to this timeline, which is now done. Further detail I may also add later. Genuine timeline of the Napoleonic era[edit]

Right now, this is primarily a list of Napoleon's battles. I'd like it to turn into a genuine timeline of the Napoleonic era. Please feel free to add something that doesn't involve fighting to it. *Kat* 07:04, May 5, 2005 (UTC)

The link "Great retreat" jumps first to the great retreat of the french-english army in WWI. @ShadowNinja1080 I have reverted this edit because I do not think that altering this page from sections and bullet points to a table is helpful. @ShadowNinja1080: With regards to this edit.

In English do not use „terreur“, instead use double quotes "(see MOS:Quotation characters).
Why did you use the French "terreur" when an article with the common English name of "The Terror" (or "Reign of Terror") is available?
Why did you change the link: <nowkik>*August 15: Siege of Danzig.</nowiki> to *August 15: [[Siege of Danzig]]. which is a link to a disambiguation page.
Do you have any reliable sources for you additions to the page?

@ShadowNinja1080: G'day. It is very important for information added to articles to be verifiable. This includes adding citations/footnotes to the material, so that other editors and readers of WP can check that what has been added to the article (or list) is from reliable sources. It would be very helpful if you could add that to this list. If you would like to have a look at how that works in practice on a list, have a look at Axis order of battle for the invasion of Yugoslavia. If you provided a page number from Meyer for a given dot point in the list, I would be happy to demonstrate in the list how it could work, and that would then be a guide for you to continue adding cited material to it. Today, I reverted your edit on Timeline of the Napoleonic era. The main reason for that is that your edits were completely unsourced. Wikipedia, as encyclopaedia, required reliable sources. I hope that you have time to read the article WP:RS so that you know what is needed.

I also noticed that with your edits you re-created a few links to disambiguation pages. For example, you linked to the Siege of Danzig. But when you follow that link, you will see that there are several events with that name. That is why the link should be Siege of Danzig (1813), to let it point to the right siege.
