Hey! I am happy to take this review. I will take a look at it, in the next two days or so. :) FairyTailRocks 16:10, 24 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! Fingers-crossed that there are not too many issues with this article. good888 (talk) 16:32, 24 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@FairyTailRocks: I have made some changes to the article. Let me know what you think. good888 (talk) 20:04, 14 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review by Dom497[edit]

@FairyTailRocks: The nominator has asked me to take over the review as it seems the current reviewer isn't very active. If FairyTailRocks does not show any progress within the next 36 hours, I will take over the review.--Dom497 (talk) 21:27, 2 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Dom497: Have you managed to make a start? Thanks, C679 22:02, 14 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Cloudz679: Dom497 is on vacation at the moment. good888 (talk) 14:51, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Cloudz679 and Good888: Sorry for the delay. I will get started on it this week. :) --Dom497 (talk) 23:53, 22 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Dom497: No problem. good888 (talk) 13:19, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Review[edit]

  • "Neither of the two athletes managed to finish their events, Soares not even starting his." - "Neither of the two athletes finished their events; Soares did not even start."
  • "Ximenez competed against 81 other athletes in the Women's marathon on August 17. Ximenez was one of 13 athletes to not finish the event after suffering a bruised left foot at the halfway point" - Not a big issue but I would suggest replacing "halfway point" with the actually distance, both in kilometres and miles (use the "Convert" template).
  • Ref 8 is missing its publisher.
  • Link "IAAF" from the first ref that uses it, rather than a ref that is in the middle.

@Good888: Everything else looks good!--Dom497 (talk) 20:08, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Dom497: All  Done I believe. Thanks for reviewing. good888 (talk) 20:31, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Good888: Just one more thing I noticed. Regarding the Sports Reference references, the titles don't necessarily reflect the actual title of the web page. I also don't really see the need to include "Sports Reference" in the title 1) because it's the publisher 2) it's not part of the web page name. Unless there is a reason behind this, please change accordingly. :) --Dom497 (talk) 23:01, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Dom497:  Done. good888 (talk) 09:25, 25 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
