Colombe

[edit]

Colombe is said to be "in the Church". No doubt, he was a Catholic lay man. Very little is known about him. The Italian Wikipedia has an article on him. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.194.4.21 (talk) 09:33, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Grammar

[edit]

The phrase "several celestial discovers in 1609" appears. This is bad English grammar.

No trial in 1615

[edit]

There was no trial of Galileo in 1615. The only trial of Galileo was in 1633. Any reliable scholarly source makes that clear. Rivka Feldhay's argument has been misinterpreted.Gabyvee (talk) 03:04, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
