Prison Break filming location[edit]

Were the Tooele episodes actually filmed in the town? — EagleOne\Talk 01:36, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, the scenes in Prison Break were not actually filmed on location. The rapid growth of Tooele was accurately portrayed by the scenes showing newly developed neighborhoods bordering farmland. --tslack2000 13:24, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tooele, UT and Tooele Army Depot (TEAD) were part of a comedy movie[edit]

What was the name of the movie which included a stolen tank and a few chemically affected characters to rob the Tooele Bank? I think this is an interesting part of the history and portrays some of what was happening at the time. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name.

pronunciation[edit]

The article says Tooele is pronounced /tˈwɪlə/, but a resident of the city in 1960[1] pronounced it /ˈtwɪlə/.—msh210℠ 11:31, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've heard that too. The first vowel is often a schwa, and it's pretty predictable that some people would run the first two syllables together like that. Also, some people pronounce the stressed vowel as /ɛ/. Ntsimp (talk) 10:14, 22 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
