Money laundering section

[edit]

"Money Laundering" section is not NPOV. "whore-mongering undesirables"? Removed "Money Laundering". This subject would be better for another page, maybe Hawala.

[edit]

I've tagged this section as it makes no pretense at NPOV whatsoever. Where is the Dubai government's side of the story? The very title of the section is tendentious and POV. JGHowes talk - 00:16, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I had orignally titled the section "dangers" and would be open to a more neutral title and rephrasing of the text, plus inclusion of anythong on the other side of the argument if it's available. Bluekieran (talk) 10:17, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
now that reliable sources have been supplied and the section edited, I've removed the tag. JGHowes talk - 16:16, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

This should be merged with the main article on Dubai. Or at least, the main article should have a summary of this page. Just a suggestion. 75.37.148.26 (talk) 19:41, 19 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If it is not merged then please add more information. A table with the numbers of arrivals (as tracked by Airport Authorities) should be added. The article is more for tourists and not about tourists. I mean it's pure marketing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.205.55.176 (talk) 20:28, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Entry regulations

[edit]

Dubai is not a country. The entry regulations appear to apply to UAE. If the info is worth retaining, it should be moved to an article specific to the UAE. Or maybe it should just be in the Wikivoyage article for UAE. Nurg (talk) 03:46, 1 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
