Dollars in 1140?

Did they really agree to "contribute" 250,000 "dollars"?

I ask because the dollar didn't exist until centuries later, as a Spanish coinage. CarlFink 15:42, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, the On This Day pan on Wikipedia tells us this treat was signed on 1142.

Can we get the year checked, and cleaned up, please … ?
