No "Goddess Tridevi"[edit]

There is no reference to the Goddess Tridevi in any Hindu scriptures. The image is only calender art. Even the concept of Trimurti remains only a concept and not a God who is worshiped by the Hindus.--Sankarrukku (talk) 13:44, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There wouldn't be a "the Goddess Tridevi" because "Tridevi" literally means "three goddesses" and refers to the conjoined trio of Saraswati, Lakshmi, and Parvati (whose demon-fighting aspect is Durga). The Navratri ("nine nights") festival celebrates that trio: the first three nights for Durga, the second three for Lakshmi, the final three for Saraswati. — Sizzle Flambé (☎/✍) 07:55, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes Trimurti are not worshiped together but tridevi worship is their. You can visit Vaishno Devi, where Tridevi are worshped, apart from it at many places tridevi are worshipped together.Snehilsharma (talk)

The importance of Tridevi - needs cleaning up please[edit]

The last paragraph which quotes "Eternal Siblings Narayana (Pratham Purush or Unmanifested form of Brahman) and Gowri Devi/Durga (Shakti Swaroop of Adi shakti) Shiva (Pradhan Purush or Transcendent form of Brahman) and Saraswati (Gyan Swaroop of Adishakti) Brahma (Param Pitamah or Manifested form of Brahman) and Laxmi (Shri swaroop of Adi shakti) but Vishnu sustains universe, thus requires complete resources to sustain. Likewise Brahma needs Complete Knowledge to create and Shankar also requires a complete source of power to lead change in beings from life to death, so requires Parvati/Gowri/Durga.[2]" = seems to be disconnected from the body of the paragraph - can someone familiar with this look to make edit of it? She work in at hospital she is at Doctor and her family have a company of wine and a dealer in Puerto Rico US. She have twins Kelly Gonzalez Vergara and Jorge Gonzalez Vergara but Kelly Gonzalez die in a accident in June 9 2013. with her and his grandfather Jorge Vergara Rodriguez one of the most important person in Puerto Rico US he have a dealer and foundation is US for poor families. Jorge Gonzalez Vergara have another sister older, Ashley Gonzalez Vergara she born in London, England in March 15, 1992 she go to college and she married with one of the most rich families from France she have a baby.

Original research?[edit]

This entire entry uses only one, very tangential, citation and includes expository information about Hindu theology that flatly contradicts other wiki entries. Are there any sources that support what is written in this entry?

We need a better picture[edit]

The current image on the infobox is junk, we don't need random "wallpaper" styled CGI images on an encyclopedia article. A painting like the ones from Raja Ravi Varma is welcomed, but I couldn't find anything. WikiLinuz🍁(talk) 02:26, 11 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
