Andrew Jonathan's research on sleeping sickness[edit]

Andrew Jonathan Nok made a research on sleeping sickness and came up with findings, although he is late now. He was awarded a couple of times for his findings. In 2013, he won Alexander Humboldt prize. However, could it be that he didn't find a cure for the sleeping sickness as said but according to them, he found the gene responsible for sleeping sickness in humans (Human African Trypanosomiasis, HAT) and nagana in animals (Animal African Trypanosomiasis, AAT) What significance was the finding on the cure for sleeping sickness?
