typo help needed[edit]

In the Conservation status section, does "estern" mean eastern or western? Please fix. LilHelpa (talk) 21:48, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

"Parapatric" or "Peripatetic"?[edit]

"Bewick's Swan is similar in appearance to the parapatric Whooper Swan (C. cygnus), but is smaller,..."

I think that word "parapatric" should be "peripatetic," meaning wandering about from place to place. (talk) 23:52, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

Parapatric (adjacent in range, as it could be rephrased to) is indeed intended. —innotata 19:40, 10 September 2012 (UTC)
