The article in spanish has been updated notabilly. Who will traduce it? (Jan 9, 2006)[edit]

Two articles in one?[edit]

Does this information refer to the city or the municipality of Tuxtla Gutiérrez? In the introduction it seems that the article is about the former, while the "Municipal" infobox would indicate that it is about the municipality - the City of Tuxtla Gutiérrez is the capital of the municipality of the same name, and takes up 40% of the area of said municipality. Does this need to be two separate articles? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Parallel or Together (talkcontribs) 7 Sept 2005

I guess no one wants to change this into two separate articles (one for city and one for municipality). Either that or no one cares. I am fine with it either way. I also made some more edits (sorry to be confusing by making so many small ones, I just went section by section). I made some changes that I hope makes the article easier to read, but which might lose the original meaning in some cases (I have pointed these out in the article itself as hidden text, such as aguacil --> governor and something in the section about climate that I now forget). I hope no one has a problem with the changes; feel free to find better ways of saying whatever I've said. And I don't like the red links, but I didn't bother doing anything about them. -Parallel or Together? 06:42, 9 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciation[edit]

I speak Spanish fluently, but I have trouble with Nahuatl words like "tuxtla". How do you pronounce it? --Revolución (talk) 00:03, 3 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Some corrections were made to the writing style

And I felt the following comment had to be erased as there is no need to compare, some people don't know the stews from yucatan.

"These are not as seasoned as the yucatecos (stews from Yucatan province), but they taste pleasant enough:"
