Hmm... What then is IOC? Only thing that came into mind is International Olympic Committee, and I doubt that's it. There is no explanation in the article. (talk) 03:27, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

And when "IOC" is inserted at the search bar, it redirects to International Olympic Committee and there is a note which says "IOC" redirects here. For other uses, see IOC (disambiguation). So then I assume that it means International Olympic Committee because the abbreviation was used in wikipedia, and in wikipedia that is what you get with IOC. (talk) 02:03, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
