I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Different interpretation of this episode.[edit]

I kept thinking that this episode was going to have a twist but it never came. I thought that the episode would actually be about Kellin manipulating Chakotay and the rest of the Voyager crew, in order to gain access to some of Voyager's superior technology (e.g. getting information about Voyager's shield defense to the Ramura weapons, Voyager's advanced sensor technology, etc..)

Several points in the episode hinted at this: At one point, Kellin casually talks about Voyager being both a powerful and fast ship. One can watch the episode again, with Kellin using her skills as an operative to get Chakotay to fall in love, gain some information or technology on-board Voyager, and then have her compatriot come by to "wipe her memory" (which would be a ploy) and she can then return with him without incident.

Completely unrelated to this thought is the incredulity behind having a species that is so "forgettable." Even if one is to buy the silliness that those people get forgotten, and that an advanced computer virus can delete records of the presence of the Ramura, there would be large gaps in the time of people on Voyager which could not be easily explained. Also, there are bound to be some people who record non-digital journals/diaries, which could not easily be deleted. Anyway, it is all a show, but sometimes writers need to think about these questions in more detail to avoid particularly silly scenarios. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.41.14.34 (talk) 01:04, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Irrelevant section "Background"[edit]

The section "Background" discussing actor-directors on Star Trek is irrelevant: - First of all, the identity of the episode's director is in no way the background of the episode. If anything, this section should be called "Production". - Second, the only relevant information is that the director of the episode was also a recurring Star Trek actor (Garak in Deep Space Nine). And that is mentioned in the introduction already. Otherwise, this section would be just as relevant to every Star Trek episode that has been directed by a Star Trek actor - and there are a lot of those.
