Rankings[edit]

Please do not vandalise this page by deleting content.

It says in the article that St. Thomas is the second-best law school in Minnesota, but isn't Hamline also in the third tier? And if that's so, doesn't U.S. News simply list the schools in their third and fourth tiers alphabetically? I don't think they're actually ranked against each other. This ranking stuff, particularly the claim that UST is the second best law school after the U, is dubious. WMCL and Hamline would have every reason to contend that beyond the US News ranking. --Bobak (talk) 19:41, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Now it's written more like an advertisement than it was before. If you want to get that banner off of there, you should take out phrases about how "great" the professors are and how "great" the classes have been. Plus, what does the size of the endowment have to do with rankings? If you want to talk about the endowment, put a number in the infobox. It's what most other law schools do (Vandy, U of M, etc). Faculty[edit]

To whoever is deleting the faculty section, please stop. Take notice of other pages listing top faculty in the field. This entire article needs more information, and these two professors are notable educators at St. Thomas. Restored the notable faculty section deleted by 63.161.12.129. The argument that "no other law school put this type of information into their wiki page" is flatly not true. It actually seems quite common for law schools (and universities in general) to have a notable faculty section. For example see: UCLA School of Law, Vanderbilt University, Stanford Law School, and University of Wisconsin Law School. I think perhaps people don't much care for one particular faculty member who is listed there (Robert Delahunty) as he is a bit controversial, but he is notable in his own right---arguably the most notable person at the entire university.--1337 Tibet (talk) 01:45, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I undid the edits by 63.161.12.129, again. To whoever this is--looks like the IP belongs to Faegre & Benson LLP--your edits aren't appropriate. First you delete the section entirely, and next you fill it with a long, unedited, unformated list of faculty names. Let's be honest, I think you were trying to make Delahunty get lost in a sea of names. You can add more faculty to the list, but 1) each person should be proven to be notable according to wiki standards and 2) the list should be properly formated.1337 Tibet (talk) 04:27, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This section lacks any citations for the list of "achievements in a relatively short life, including:" Also, it reads like a non-neutral ad/self promotion.
