I decided to add material to the rhythmic oldies article after following a link from something else, not realizing what I was in for. At one point I wanted to refer to a different format targeting blacks (rhythmic oldies goes after blacks and whites). I thought I had found what I was looking for, but the format "urban oldies", a heading here, seems to refer to rhythmic oldies.

I would like to see someone fix this, so "urban oldies" here refers to a black format. I believe "rhythmic", whether adult contemporary, top 40 or oldies, refers to a format targeting blacks and whites, while "urban", in any context, means black.Vchimpanzee (talk) 20:54, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article is a mess[edit]

There have been a lot of incoherent edits lately (especially during May-August 2014). The article, especially the Summary section, was already a mess before that, with lots of grammatically incorrect sentences. I propose to revert the entire Summary section to some past version that was coherent. Please discuss any opinions here. -- HLachman (talk) 03:45, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
