Copy[edit]

I don't think this site "All Experts" is allowed to copy word for word from this Wiki article about Venus, is it? I'm not sure so let me know because this is definitely a direct copy of an older version of this article. Kal 18:08, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Sonica.jpg[edit]

Image:Sonica.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:51, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

I'm not sure what to do to add the correct sources. Majority of the information came from Out of Breath, which is linked from the article. Let me know what else I can do and how to add it. I don't have the time to look into a lot of details. - Kal 22:27, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A fan site doesn't really fit the bill. With ten years of history there should be other sources, newspapers, magazines etc. that can back up some content. One exmaple I found is RFI. [1] --Tikiwont (talk) 21:43, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The band praised this site when they broke up, but unfortunately their official site is no more. I understand your concern though. I'm in contact with the former singer of the band, can I have him confirm the information himself? If so, let me know what he has to do. - Kal 00:29, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, he neither has to do anything nor should he. We try not to built this on first hand knowledge but on secondary sources independent of the subject. With the idea that the band has been noted, and that any interested editor should be able to write the article or verify what's inside. It's also not your task alone, but if you can dig up something would be good. --Tikiwont (talk) 13:04, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'll find some time this weekend to dig up some links. - Kal 11:57, 9 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
