Checking against GA criteria[edit]

GA review (see here for criteria)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
    I made a number of copy-edits.[2]
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
References appear OK, RS, no OR. Assume good faith for sources which I cannot access.
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
Could do with more information about location, e.g. using Template:Oslo Metro next, and the route map. Also geo co-ordinates should be added to the infobox.
Is there any information about passenger numbers?
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
I am puzzled by the photograph, which just appears to show a section of track.
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
On hold for seven days for above issues to be addressed.
OK, I am happy to list this. Congratulations! Jezhotwells (talk) 21:03, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for taking the time to review the article. I've added some more information about location, but left out the station next s-box, since it appears to only be used on stations which are in use. The GA Nordberg (station) also hasn't got this s-box, but instead discusses the station's location and nearby stations in the lead. I've added geo co-ordinates, but this is the first time I've done that, so they may be wrong. The 1935 picture is the only picture that I found on the internet of this station. There is a better picture of the station taken in the late 1930s, which is printed in both the 1994 St. Hallvard journal article and Andersen's 1993 book, but these two sources are both back at the library, so I won't be able to scan the image and upload it to the Commons very soon. :-/ I tweaked the caption slightly, to make it more descriptive. --Eisfbnore talk 14:20, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I see that the caption has been tweaked and geo-coordinates added. The s-box isn't a GA criterion of course. On articles about UK railways it is frequently used on disused stations as in my local station, Hotwells railway station and Thornton Dale railway station near my aunt's home. But of course it is a matter of taste. Jezhotwells (talk) 21:03, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
