Gully picture[edit]

Why does someone keep changing the picture, from a gully in the USA to one in Russia? Has the cold war returned? Or is it simply vandalism?Peterlewis (talk) 19:22, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good evening. Your image ravine in Arizona is very low quality. That shows there is little ravine. And the image that I put, on the contrary, shows that the well ravine. It is not in Russia and not in the United States, and certainly not in the Cold War, that you feel sorry about that thought immediately. The thing is a very poor quality of your images Arizona. I wanted to change it, but you all my attempts to do so undo. Well ... vandalism is not, I just made fresh quality shots trying to place where they required. Sincerely, I hope for your understanding. I feel sorry that you immediately thought of the Cold War. I am from Kharkiv, but the Cold War is already in school, we are told that it ended. There. 92.113.140.188 (talk) 19:16, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think both images could be used, so why not put yours back into the article under the US pic, which I think is actually quite a good picture and not of poor quality as you argue. Peterlewis (talk) 20:08, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea. Only here would think of as better? I will not object, even if my photo will move to second place, but be, in my opinion, it should - in my opinion, this is the best option. You can plan for the second place Arizona ravine. There is some very small image of the hill rather than the ravine. 92.113.207.64 (talk) 19:34, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Very nice, and do not have to fight. That's the best solution. A nice option! 92.113.207.64 (talk) 20:18, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Page organization[edit]

The second paragraph in the etymology section doesn't seem to have anything to do with etymology. It's also odd that it mentions erosion in southeast Nigeria here and is followed by a citation for the etymology.

It seems to me that citation should be placed in the previous paragraph and the later paragraph should be rewritten into other sections. 50.216.60.254 (talk) 20:39, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
