1. Well written?:

Prose quality:
  • He served in the Pacific theatre Not 100% sure what theatre is. Add a wikilink to an article that explains what is, if possible.
  • At his peak height, he was slightly over five feet tall, seems rather trivial.
  • Later that year, he discovered the body of gangster Baby Face Nelson, who died of injuries sustained in a gun battle with the police. Why is this important?
  • he killed somewhere between 11 and 17 bandits. Remove somewhere.
  • His firearm of choice was the .357 Magnum, relevance?
Manual of Style compliance:
  • Link to articles on the first occurance.

2. Factually accurate and verifiable?:

References to sources:
Citations to reliable sources, where required:
No original research:

3. Broad in coverage?:

Major aspects:
Focused:

4. Reflects a neutral point of view?:

Fair representation without bias:

5. Reasonably stable?

No edit wars, etc. (Vandalism does not count against GA):

6. Illustrated by images, when possible and appropriate?:

Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
  • Not required, but can you add alt text to the images?

Overall:

Hi, I've made all the changes except one - I feel that being the person who discovered the body of a notorious criminal who killed many FBI agents is notable aspect of his career. Nelson had been shot, but not immediately killed, in a shootout, so he was still a wanted fugitive and, prior to his body found, it was unknown whether he was alive or dead. Walsh's discovery of the body therefore confirmed that the criminal was dead and thus the hunt for him could be called off. I can expand on this with some references (and some better prose than this explanation, haha) if you feel that it would benefit to the article. Cheers, CP 17:40, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
An explanation (similar to your comment) in the article as to why his discovery is notable enough to be here would be great.--Giants27(Contribs|WP:CFL) 02:37, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hopefully taken care of. Let me know! Cheers, CP 16:29, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
