New section[edit]

Indian census is conducted only at 10-year intervals, and the last one was in 2001. There was no census in 2006. But since I am unaware what census the population figures were taken from, I have just inserted a citation needed template --Manojb 12:50, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Being the capital of most well known telugu kingdom in its history and also its monuments are still being used by state government for represeting telugu culture, having no photos here is bad. Somebody from Warangal please take pictures of its fort and temples and post here. Or perhaps we can use some pictures from government website. Mlpkr 07:38, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

Yes. The most well-known pictures of Warangal gate and Ramappa temple would serve the purpose. and warangal is best place for the new state telangana —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.63.100.117 (talk) 08:28, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

There is an obvios error in population and area. How can it be 4th largest when area and population stated are bigger than Hyderabad. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.195.211.39 (talk) 06:51, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
