Notability[edit]

this is a us citizen kidnapped in a foreign nation. i think it should meet your ****ing notability guidelines — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.202.160.188 (talk) 07:15, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

What if I told you that the vast majority of wikipedia users are not "us citizens", but citizens of "foreign nations" and that therefore your argument about fucking notability guidelines is invalid?— Preceding unsigned comment added by WIkiderpian (talkcontribs) 11:35, June 24, 2014 (UTC)‎

Edit request on 21 October 2012[edit]

When I pull my uncle up from google, there is a picture with the year he was born, 1948. He as born in 1941. Please fix the picture date of birth. It looks like you fixed the one where it says when he was born. The picture is still wrong. His youngest sister was born in 1946. 173.174.33.189 (talk) 14:55, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

The only birth date I can find in the article is 1941, and the article contains no image, so I'm unclear what picture you're referring to. If you could be more specific, it would help. For the record, it looks as if at least one cited source—the Telegraph—reported Mr. Weinstein's age erroneously. While other sources' reporting of his age as 70 was consistent with a 1941 birth date, I don't see a source for the date itself. Can you help with that, by that chance? Rivertorch (talk) 17:15, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
Yes check.svg Done. While that picture doesn't have anything to do with wikipedia, it looks like google may have been pulling the DoB out of the metadata on this article, which I've now changed. A specific source for the date itself would be useful, however, as Rivertorch says. -— Isarra 22:27, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

BLP1E?[edit]

Is this guy notable for anything other than being a victim of kidnap? Doesn't this fall under BLP1E? NickCT (talk) 15:36, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
