Pershore College[edit]

Following a unanimous consensus Pershore College has been merged to this article.--Kudpung (talk) 05:31, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Results of merge debate (fromTalk:Pershore College)[edit]

Since being absorbed by the Warwickshire College as its horticultural campus in 2007, the Pershore College is no longer a stand-alone establishment and has neither an Ofsted listing (one of the major criteria of notability for a UK school or college), nor a website of its own. There are therefore no criteria for populating a school infobox, or additional references. It is therefore proposed that this article be updated and copyedited and merged to Warwickshire College leaving a redirect. please leave your comments below in the bulleted list, remembering to sign your name with four tildes.--Kudpung (talk) 10:15, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Merge - see rationale above.--Kudpung (talk) 10:21, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge - agree with Kudpung. We can include a section on Pershore College in the Warwickshire College article and redirect this article. TheRetroGuy (talk) 11:17, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge - I think the biggest reasons to merge, are that: (1) Warwickshire College is a pretty wimpy article for something with six campuses, (2) Lack of any more references for this college. As long as the redirect to the main Warwickshire College article mains the major categories on the redirect page that this article has already, I have no major objection. • Merge - agree with TheRetroGuy, keep a Pershore College section within the Warwickshire College page, keep a redirect from here. All sounds good ;-) GyroMagician (talk) 19:02, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge - seems the obvious thing to do. Just so long as it's not implied that Pershore is in Warwickshire! *g* Loganberry (Talk) 19:22, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge What history there is can be integrated in the Warwickshire College article. Nev1 (talk) 19:23, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Consensus: The consensus is Merge. I'll do the rewriting and editing. --Kudpung (talk) 01:24, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment -- the practice with alumni categories is that alumni of a college that has merged are treated as alumni of the successor institution. This proposal thus accords with that practice. Peterkingiron (talk) 21:32, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Warwick Trident Center[edit]

The in take of students within the Engineering department has continued to grow over the pasted six years. Considering that the country is in one of the worst economic down turns it has seen in many years, Engineering continues to see many school leavers find apprenships and training in mechanical/electrical and manufacturing environments. All of these oppotunities can be found within this center. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.219.41.130 (talk) 13:31, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
