Wedgefield vs Wedgewood[edit]

I am pretty sure that this place is not Wedgewood but rather Wedgefield. I was born and reared near here in Sumter, SC and I can tell you that if the census has this place designated as Wedgewood it is wrong. I hesitate to make any edits without knowing if the census has the name wrong. Rbrown3rd 23:40, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

The post office name for Zip Code 29168 is Wedgefield, SC per http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/citytown_zip.jsp clariosophic (talk) 01:55, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

The correct name is "Wedgefield" (community and CDP) NOT "Wedgewood" per US Census Bureau 2010 ANSI Codes for Places https://www.census.gov/geo/reference/codes/place.html
