Creation of article[edit]

Much of this section is duplicated in the Llyn peninsula and Gwynedd articles. The creation of this page is an attempt to un-branch the topic. There has been resistance to the attempt to remove the duplication of the content from User:Enaidmawr. For the history of this discussion see Talk:Llŷn_Peninsula Fluidhomefront (talk) 17:05, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's pointless splitting the discussion between here and Talk:Welsh language. I propose that the discussion be continued where it started, at Talk:Llŷn Peninsula. This matter has been brought to the attention of members of the Wales wikipedia project at the Welsh Wikipedians' notice board. Enaidmawr (talk) 00:33, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
PS This article is a mess and still not correctly titled ("Pre-2009": so there's no crisis now?!). You've made no attempt to adapt the text or really discuss the issue, just copied and pasted. And I see that you hope you can remove all mention of the Welsh language issue from here as well. Am I really to believe you when you say you are not politically motivated in these edits? Be that as it may, we'll pursue this further at Talk:Llŷn Peninsula. Enaidmawr (talk) 00:41, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Not to mention that there is not even a Wales category given! Says it all, I think... Enaidmawr (talk) 00:44, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just an FYI, these sections on the language and housing prices are what I wrote in the Language and Housing Controversy of the History of Plaid Cymru page, though edited it seems. Read that section for greater context. In that section, I attempted to keep the text of the artical specific to the sources, thus the illustration of Llyn and Gwynedd. There really should be an artical on Housing in Wales, which could touch on both language, second home ownership, gentrification, and housing prices. ♦Drachenfyre♦·Talk 05:14, 27 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rename, expand, delete overlaps and improve[edit]

This article could, if sufficiently improved, provide a basis for starting an article on Housing in Wales, which in my view is needed. Ghmyrtle (talk) 08:41, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
PS: Most of the information in this article pertains specifically to Gwynedd, and an edited version is now included in that article. Ghmyrtle (talk) 10:11, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A discussion on Affordability of housing in the United Kingdom has been started to discuss merging this article to Affordability of housing in the United Kingdom. Sport and politics (talk) 16:55, 8 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
