Yan Hui (disciple of Confucius)Yan Hui – per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Yan Hui is Confucius' favorite disciple, who has been worshipped as one of the Four Sages in countless Confucian temples all over East Asia for centuries. The painter is far less influential. Google books returns 2,830 results for "Yan Hui"+Confucius (which is an underestimate as he is also commonly known by various other names including Yanzi, Ziyuan, and Yan Yuan), vs. 673 results for "Yan Hui"+painter. • Support. The Confucian got 666 views in the last month while the painter got 115. A GBook search can give us a handle on the "educational value" issue. However, I don't think you are likely to find either of these people in an undergraduate-level syllabus. The initializer (talk) 11:25, 29 March 2015 (UTC)
