QuickCheck and Yhc?

[edit]

Gwern, could you cite some evidence that Yhc uses QuickCheck? I don't think that it does. Epimorph 00:19, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Take a look at a grep of the source (and specifically Map.hs and Set.hs). At least one file is importing QuickCheck and using it, according to the version I checked out the day I started the article. --Gwern (contribs) 04:11 9 February 2007 (GMT)
Map and Set come from the Haskell.org base libraries and are only being hosted inside the Yhc repo while the work on integrating the full base libraries is carried out - afterwards they will be removed. Yhc doesn't actually invoke these tests ever, they were written by someone else for some other purpose. --NeilMitchell 11:00, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
NeilMitchell is one of the Yhc developers, so on the basis of the above comment I've removed QuickCheck again. -- Epimorph 15:20, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
