Proposed deletion[edit]

I removed the proposed deletion tag for the following reasons:

  1. There are ample sources discussing the YOP in more or less detail: YOPS + unemployment, YOP + unemployment, "Youth Opportunity Programme" + unemployment, and no doubt more besides.
  2. If the article turns out to be unexpandable, which I do not believe to be the case, it should be merged with/redirected to its successor, the Youth Training Scheme. In that case, the related TOP could be treated in the same article.
