I'm redirecting this to choy sum, since all the web pages about this that I can find state that yu choy is the same as choy sum. For example:

Technically, in the original Cantonese, "油菜" refers to any dark leafy green that can be cooked in oil (it actually refers more to the cooking style than the plant itself). See:
