Pacifist Hunters[edit]

"The amendment of 1991 ruled that individuals serving community service were prohibited from owning any weapon for 20 years after their community service"? What if some of them are hunters? It is morally consistent to oppose killing people while accepting the killing of animals. I wouldn't assume that every conscientious objector is a vegetarian. There are no exceptions to the prohibition. Because of the problematic implications of that, for example for hunters but also since it can (under certain circumstances) be morally consistent to refuse being a soldier while wanting to be a police officer, this is in public discussion, but so far there are no exceptions. 84.119.46.99 (talk) 22:24, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
