Teemu "Manta Ray" Mäntysaari is a guitarist for the Finnish band Wintersun[1] [2] and played for Imperanon[3] until their break-up, (joining both of these bands in 2004). He was born in Tampere, Finland, in 1987, and began playing guitar at the age of 12. He has written many unreleased songs with Imperanon and has toured with Wintersun. Teemu's early musical influences on guitar were Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, John Petrucci and Shawn Lane, among others.[1]
