- And what accusations do you have against me huh, if I was already going to remove the templates with at least two pieces of information so that the bot automatically updates and also changes the occupations of both articles as well, you have to investigate yourself better before reporting. 200.88.93.75 (talk) 03:09, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
User has been incorrectly or insufficiently warned. Re-report if the user resumes vandalising after being warned sufficiently. Unless the user has been on some other IPs that your report doesn't mention, I see only the edit war notice. This does not count as a final warning. Not to me. Juliaca massacre
Reason: Multiple attempts by IP and newly-created users at reverting information provided by reliable sources and moving the article name without discussion or consensus. Possible WP:Sock activity as well. WMrapids (talk) 17:40, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- Do you want move-protection as well as semi-protection? Daniel Case (talk) 22:45, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
- Comment I'll leave this for Daniel Case to decide, but in looking at the history it appears to me that most of the reverted edits and the move are coming from an auto-confirmed user, so that semi-protection would not help. I suggest you pursue the sock angle. -- MelanieN (talk) 16:08, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
- An SPI has been opened and closed, with no action against the user causing all the disruption. Do we want EC or, perhaps, a partial block from this page for some long term? If it is the former I would like to see a formal request per policy as this is not to be done casually. Daniel Case (talk) 04:03, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
FuboTV
Reason: Communications person for FuboTV (Wikijen7 and EncyclopediaEditor0, which are the same person — Jennifer Press) has made several edits without disclosure, in violation of Wikipedia's conflict of interest policies. TheMediaHistorian (talk) 06:50, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
Declined This really shouldn't be solved via page-protection; COI editing is strongly discouraged, but not explicitly forbidden. Direct the COI editors to the pertaining talk-page(s) please, see WP:COIEDIT. If they edit disruptively, they can be warned off and be dealt with on a case by case basis. Semi-protection: Racist vandalism. 7 revisions by various users have been RD2'd in the past month. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 09:26, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
Semi-protected for a period of 2 weeks, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. I think consideration should be given to indefinite semi-protection. Looking at the past three months on this talk page, it appears that every edit by an unregistered user has been unproductive and has been deleted. Many of them needed to be revdel'ed as well. I will propose this at the page. MelanieN (talk) 15:39, 26 January 2023 (UTC)

Birds Aren't Real
Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – If you look over the page history, it seems like every week or two for basically forever (while the page was unprotected) an IP will come and try to edit the article to present the joke theory as if it were a real theory, presumably because it's funnier presented that way. IMO, having been protected 3 times already and it still happening, it probably needs an indef semi protection. Endwise (talk) 10:37, 26 January 2023 (UTC)

Current requests for reduction in protection level
Before posting, first discuss with the protecting admin at their talk page. Only post below if you receive no (favourable) reply.
- To find out the username of the admin who protected the page click on "history" at the top of the page, then click on "View logs for this page" which is under the title of the page. The protecting admin is the username in blue before the words "protected", "changed protection level" or "pending changes". If there are a number of entries on the log page, you might find it easier to select "Protection log" or "Pending changes log" from the dropdown menu in the blue box.
- Requests to downgrade full protection to template protection on templates and modules can be directed straight here; you do not need to ask the protecting admin first.
- Requests for removing create protection on redlinked articles are generally assisted by having a draft version of the intended article prepared beforehand.
- If you want to make spelling corrections or add uncontroversial information to a protected page please add {{Edit fully-protected}} to the article's talk page, along with an explanation of what you want to add to the page. If the talk page is protected please use the section below.
Check the rolling archive if you cannot find your request. Only recently answered requests are still listed here.
Current requests for edits to a protected page
Please request an edit directly on the protected page's talk page before posting here
Ideally, requests should be made on the article talk page rather than here.
- Unless the talk page itself is protected, you may instead add the appropriate template among
{{Edit protected}}
,{{Edit template-protected}}
,{{Edit extended-protected}}
, or{{Edit semi-protected}}
to the article's talk page if you would like to make a change rather than requesting it here. Doing so will automatically place the page in the appropriate category for the request to be reviewed. - Where requests are made due to the editor having a conflict of interest (COI; see Wikipedia:Suggestions for COI compliance), the
{{request edit}}
template should be used. - Requests to move move-protected pages should be made at Wikipedia:Requested moves, not here.
- If the discussion page and the article are both protected preventing you from making an edit request, this page is the right place to make that request. Please see the top of this page for instructions on how to post requests.
- This page is not for continuing or starting discussions regarding content should both an article and its discussion page be protected. Please make a request only if you have a specific edit you wish to make.

AutopatrolledUser:Ppt91
My total page count is 39, with a "clean" page count likely falling below 25. However, I have a consistent record of both creating and substantially contributing to new English articles on topics related to Eastern Europe and Poland, with multiple "thanks" for recent articles received from other users. My total edit count is over 1,600 for 255 pages. I ensure that stubs and start-class articles I create are always supported by verifiable sources and would benefit from having the autopatrolled permission for the substantial amount of articles I plan to add/translate in the near future. I have been extensively contributing to 15.ai and reverting the persistent disruptive editing/vandalism on the article for several months, and the vandalism had gotten to the point where I requested that the article be extended-protected, which was granted yesterday. I then realized that I currently only have 250 edits out of the 500 required to be approved as an extended confirmed editor, meaning that I can no longer edit the article myself. I am requesting extended confirmed user access level in order to be able to clean up the article. HackerKnownAs (talk) 19:22, 25 January 2023 (UTC)

Hi, I have been editing on Wikipedia for more than a year now. Since then, I think I have gained good understanding of the policies and guidelines of Wikipedia. I know the process of reviewing is intended as a quick check to ensure edits don't contain vandalism, violations of the policy on living individuals, copyright violations, or other obvious inappropriate content. I can help reduce this burden with this right. Thank you. John Yunshire (talk) 21:14, 23 January 2023 (UTC)

I have been spending a decent chunk of my Wikipedia time monitoring (and reverting/warning as needed) recent changes – as well as having several pages on my watch list that come and go from pending changes protection – so I think it'd be worthwhile for me to be able to approve pending changes that are acceptable per the guidelines in Wikipedia:Reviewing pending changes. Thanks and please ask me any questions that'd be helpful. Skynxnex (talk) 14:36, 26 January 2023 (UTC) |

Due to my areas of focus on Wikipedia (Eastern European history and visual culture, Stalinism, Soviet Union history and visual culture, art under totalitarian regimes, and topics related to World War II history, among others), I regularly contribute to heavily-edited articles and would benefit from the rollback permission. Hello! I made a denied request for rollback a couple months ago, and wanted to be reconsidered for the user right. While recently I haven't done a ton of recent changes patrolling, I still find that I end up reverting at least a bunch of vandalism each day. With RB, I'd like to start using Huggle to patrol recent changes more often. I'm very well familiar with WP:AIV, WP:VANDAL, WP:PROMO, etc. guidelines, and know how to properly identify, remove, warn, and report (if needed) problematic edits. Thanks!! :) ~ Eejit43 (talk) 02:56, 25 January 2023 (UTC)

This is the alt account of Blaze Wolf. I'm using this to test out UV while it's still in beta and not compatible with RW so as to not mess things up on my main accounts. I'm requesting rollback perms for this account so I can make use of the RCP script which requires rollback perms so that I don't have to dig through RC to figure out what should and shouldn't be reverted (I haven't used that script in a while tho so if it doesn't help me with testing out UV, let me know and tell me what I should be looking for instead). Heya. Years and years of tons of responsible editing. DYKs and everything. Have only clicked the red button a couple of times. Seems like there are more of these pages. I can jump through the hoops of bugging people 5 times so that I won't have to bug them again in the future but it seems pretty needless when most of it will be small stuff like noting on the {{USA}} page that there's a redirect from {{US}} if people want to use it or adding a link to {{WikiProject United States}} for people who are looking for its shortcut for talk page headers. No, I won't be using this to fix the {{zh}} mess without a new consensus or to make US spelling the default for {{convert}} however helpful that would be for most pages xD. — LlywelynII 23:06, 24 January 2023 (UTC) — LlywelynII 23:06, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
