Brahma Upanishad[edit]

Spider web

  • ... that according to the Brahma Upanishad, Prana is drawn into the Brahman through the nerve chords in a similar way a falcon considers the sky as means of communication to reach its abode?

ALT ... that according to the Brahma Upanishad, a living being controls all the senses similar to a spider, which weaves its web (pictured) with a single thread?

  • Interesting - I have concerns about this.
The hooks are interesting in that they grab my attention and make me curious to read the article; however I don't think either of them, particularly hook 1, really makes sense to someone not familiar with the Hindu religion. Reading the article does little to clarify things. That said, interesting is a matter of taste. However, I'd still like this to be more approachable to someone who knows nothing about Hindu.
  • Accurate and cited with in-line citation.
(Hook 1 has a citation at the end of the paragraph containing the hook, but not a citation to the specific sentence. Hook 2 is properly cited.)

Overall, I prefer Hook 2. My objection under "interesting" should not preclude this from being on the main page, but is something to think about in revising the article. Do a QPQ (might I suggest Template:Did you know nominations/Hammerton Killick?) and I think this is good to go. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk;Contribs)problem solving 19:18, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
ONUnicorn, QPQ Belgrade printing house (see Reviewed) is already done. Striking out hook 1. Please pass hook 2 (ALT).Redtigerxyz Talk 19:44, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
Whoops, I didn't see that reviewed note there. Not sure how I missed it. Sorry. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 19:55, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
(edit conflict) ONUnicorn, can you please come a appropriate tick to pass this. Redtigerxyz Talk 19:57, 18 February 2015 (UTC)

Not sure what you mean, unless you just want me to put another big green check mark like I just did. ~ ONUnicorn(Talk|Contribs)problem solving 20:07, 18 February 2015 (UTC)

Yes, that confirmed green tick. Thanks. Redtigerxyz Talk 20:11, 18 February 2015 (UTC)
