Cricket (insect)[edit]

Deep-fried cricket

Created/expanded by Chiswick Chap (talk) and Cwmhiraeth (talk). Nominated by Cwmhiraeth (talk) at 05:09, 2 June 2015 (UTC).

  • Article is new enough (recent GA), long enough, and well written. QPQ is done. No copyvio found. Hook is interesting enough, but I'm intrigued by the picture of fried crickets. I suggest that we use an alternative hook that focuses on crickets as food and uses the picture. Hopefully it'll be a lead hook. -Zanhe (talk) 08:30, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
Personally, I'd say hopefully not. EEng (talk) 02:04, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
How about:
  • ALT1 ... that deep-fried crickets (pictured) are eaten in southern Asia? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 12:41, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
  • Both hooks are verified and good to go. Image is freely licensed. I prefer ALT1 with the image, but original hook is better if the image is not used. -Zanhe (talk) 05:28, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
